Terms and Conditions

DraftWise Midland Insulation Solutions, midlandinsulationcontractor.com, projects@midlandinsulationcontractor.com
Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you book with DraftWise Midland Insulation Solutions, an insulation contractor in Midland, TX. When you browse the site, send us the form, call us or sign an estimate, you're agreeing to them.
If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site or book work with us until we've talked it through. You can always start from the home page or reach us through the contact page.
What we do
We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings in Midland and the cities around it. That includes attic, wall and crawl space insulation, blown-in loose fill, spray foam, vapor barriers and air sealing, which means closing gaps before the insulation goes in.
What the site says about these services is general information to help you understand the work. The exact scope of your job is what's written on your estimate, because no two attics or crawl spaces are the same. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates, and there's no pressure to book. The price depends on what we find on site, such as the size of the space, how many inches are already up there, whether old material has to come out and which product you choose.
An estimate is our price for the work it describes, and it stays good for the period written on it. If we open up the job and find something nobody could see beforehand, like soaked insulation, droppings or damaged framing, we'll stop, show you and give you a written price for the extra work before we do it. We won't add charges you haven't approved.
Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you once you approve the estimate. Weather, material delivery and conditions in the attic can push a date, and if that happens we'll call you as soon as we know.
You can reschedule or cancel by calling (432) 218-4671 or using the contact page. Please give us as much notice as you can, because we hold crew time and order material for your job. If we've already bought material made for your job or started work, you may owe for that, as your estimate explains.
Some products, spray foam in particular, need everyone out of the house for a set time after we spray. We'll tell you before the job when you, your kids and your pets can come back inside, and you agree to follow those instructions so everyone stays safe.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or invoice. We'll go over them with you before work starts so there aren't any surprises.
If a balance goes unpaid past its due date, we may add collection costs and any late charges Texas law allows and your signed paperwork states. Call us first if you're having trouble paying, because we'd rather work it out with you.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the installation isn't right, call us and we'll come back out to look at it.
The guarantee covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover damage from roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, storms, other contractors moving or disturbing the insulation, or problems that were in the house before we arrived. Any manufacturer warranty on a product is the manufacturer's to honor, and we'll pass along the paperwork we receive.
We can't promise a certain drop in your power bill or a set indoor temperature, because those depend on your HVAC system, your windows, how you run the house and the weather. Information on this website is offered as-is, and we don't make any promise beyond what's written in your estimate and our guarantee.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of a room or higher utility costs, that come from conditions we didn't cause.
We aren't liable for how you use the general information on this website, or for any outside site it links to. Nothing here limits a right you have under Texas law that can't be limited by agreement.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with something, call us first. Most problems get fixed faster when we can come out and look at the attic together.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in Midland County before going to court. Any lawsuit that follows will be filed in the state courts in Midland County, Texas.
Texas law applies
These terms, this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, whatever city the job is in.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies to new visits and new estimates. A job you've already signed for stays under the terms that were in place when you signed.
If you have a question about any of this, reach us through the contact page or call (432) 218-4671. We reply within 1 business day.
